Software Engineer
An elite web developer on the rise.
A passionate problem solver who enjoys the process from building things from scratch and seeing them through.
What first sparked my interest in being a developer was taking a C++ course back in college and despite learning to code simple math, it broadened my understanding that there are more ways than just pen, paper and a calculator to solve problems. The most recent project that I had built from scratch was an Escape the Room game using Javascript for the game logic and HTML/CSS for the styling of the game.
I became a software engineer because of the freedom and creativity that allows me to build things from scratch and be able to see and control what I output. I had previously worked as a sales consultant at a company in which I was able to enhance my communication abilities and acquire the skills of making sales to generate revenue for the company and essentially value to my team.
As an up-and-coming runner with two half-marathons under the belt, I created a MapMyRun web clone that allows users to create, search, and track their running routes.
